Spencer + Joe // Roger Williams Botanical Center, Providence, RI Wedding

Spencer and Joe had the most beautiful wedding this 2nd of June, 2018. Their ceremony and reception were held at the Roger Williams Botanical Center in Providence, RI. When Spencer initially contacted me for information on wedding services and told me she was getting married in a giant greenhouse, I knew I needed to book that wedding. Little did I know I would fall head over heels for her and Joe - not only as clients, but people I truly admire and adore. 

The booked a wedding package with me that included an engagement session. We had so much fun planning their session which turned out amazing. She was so open to ideas that I had, that matched her vision perfectly. Also, her and Joe have two furbaby dachshunds that participated in their engagement shoot, and I literally melted. When the wedding day approached we had our final details call where I finalize their timeline and shot list. It was during this call they had informed me that Spencer's mom was not doing well and sadly would likely pass away prior to the wedding. My heart just ached for them and could not even imagine what they were going through. The day of the wedding I reached out to Joe to find out how things were going - he sadly told me she had passed, but that everyone was ready to celebrate with her in spirit. With that same attitude in mind, I packed up my gear and headed to Providence. 

The wedding day turned out to be beautiful, and everyone was filled with such joy to be part of Spencer and Joe's day. The ceremony site and reception had little trinkets and items placed to honor those who could not be present, including Spencers mom. 

Spencer looked just absolutely stunning and Joe just handsome as ever. The greenhouse was in full bloom, the weather perfect, and the company was heartwarming. It turned out to be such a great wedding and I was thrilled to be part of it.
