Sam + Ian // Mass Audubon Habitat Center & Wildlife Sanctuary Wedding, Belmont, MA
Let me just say - I've been LOVING my clients' venues this year! Absolutely stunning spots, some of which I've never heard of until booking their wedding!
Samantha's and Ian's was one of them. Their wedding took place on June 16th at the Mass Audubon Habitat Center & Wildlife Sanctuary in Belmont, Massachusetts. It was a beautiful, yet relaxing and laid-back venue - a perfect match for Sam and Ian.
One thing I loved about their wedding was it was a "stand-up dinner". Which Sam was a bit nervous about at first, but honestly, it was perfect! After the ceremony, guests retreated for the cocktail hour while we preceeded with the formal photos. Then, Sam and Ian wanted to have a few drinks before heading off to do the bride and groom portraits which was awesome because I got some more shots of the beautiful grounds. Then, I was able to whisk them away and because it was a "stand-up dinner", the caterer was given the go-ahead to start bringing out the food while we did photos! So, no starving guests while we took our time with photos! AMMMAAAZZZINNGG!
After dinner we headed inside for some formal dances and then the party started! Everyone was on the dance floor and it was a blast.
To Sam and Ian - I loved being a tiny part of your amazing lives. Your friends and family love you dearly and I'm so happy I could be part of the celebrations. You guys have an amazing future together - and I wish you all the happiness the world can give you :)
