Desirae + Jeff // Swampscott MA Engagement Session

Desirae and Jeff are planning their wedding for next year and I'm so excited to be part of their special day. They were so much fun to photograph for their engagement session, I can only imagine how their wedding will be! eeek! 

Granted I only had them for an hour, but I immediately connected with them. Desirae is a nurse and Jeff is a correctional officer - both extremely challenging jobs that can have an emotional toll. But I believe this is just a part of their lives that brings them closer together. Almost like the strength they gain from the careers will give them the strength for a wonderful and long-lasting marriage. I could already see this in them during their engagement session - they were both nervous, but worked together and relied on each other to make those photographic moments work. Of course I always guide my clients on what to do, how to pose, etc., but I found that Desirae and Jeff didn't need much direction in the end because they relied on each other - not me anymore! 

Their session was taken at Preston Beach in Swampscott, MA just before sunset. It was perfect and we were able to capture some amazing photos! I can't wait to photograph their wedding next year :)
