A Branding Session with Lady Luxe Beauty | Cohasset MA

Personal Branding sessions are so much fun to plan and shoot. Mostly because I get to work with other creatives one-on-one helping them create awesome content for their social and website needs.

This session may have been one of my favorites to-date. Erika, owner of Lady Luxe Beauty reached out to me via Instagram to book a session. Her company provides hair and makeup services for events (mostly weddings) and she has quickly learned that people LOVE seeing her on Instagram and learning more about her personally. Hence her reasoning in booking me!

After reaching out, we scheduled a date and set out our shoot plan. One thing that was unique about this session is that we ended up changing the shoot plan just a day before the shoot. Which IS TOTALLY COOL! Actually it was just a minor change, but I’m so glad we did it. We set some time aside for a beach location because she loves being outside and the location would be perfect COLOR-wise for her session. I always tell my clients to think about locations that will work WELL with your BRAND COLORS. If your brand colors are more light and bright pinks and tans and blues, then picking a park or nature location with a lot of green and browns may not be the best idea.

Also, as part of her shoot plan we had outfits picked out and stories identified. We used her studio as well, along with some spaces in her home. We wanted to make sure people saw her as a strong female entrepreneur, a fun and friendly person and also a wonderful creative.
